Negotiator Awards 2022

London’s premier venue, The Grosvenor House Hotel on Park Lane in Mayfair, London, gave a very warm welcome to over 950 guests from every corner of the UK on Friday evening for The Negotiator Awards 2022, presentation ceremony and gala dinner.

Proudly supported by Under the Hammer, Home Telecom and Global 4 Communications and a host of support sponsors, The Negotiator Awards is the leading awards programme for estate and letting agents in the UK and their suppliers. 2022 has been another year of record entries to the Awards, reflecting again an extremely high standard of entry. There were outstanding efforts in the bigger classes, such as Small Estate Agency of the Year, and strong representation across the United Kingdom in the Regional categories.

POD were shortlisted in the Property Management Company of the Year category and we just missed out on the top award, we were honoured to have received a ‘Highly Commended’ award in recognition of our efforts.

CEO and Founder, David Goldberg, said “I am hugely proud of our award. I wanted to recognise the efforts the team have made in getting us to where we are today, so to receive this in a hotly contested category alongside many, more established players, is an achievement in itself.”

Hosted by comedy actor Stephen Mangan, the 33 categories were awarded with trophies and commendations handed to 93 agencies and suppliers. Stephen was joined on stage by The Negotiator publisher, Grant Leonard. After announcing the 2022 winners he said, “This has been a great evening of excitement and celebration, seeing the best in the business recognised and rewarded.

“The significance and importance of the Awards should not be underestimated, they prove that the industry is thriving and positive, and we can’t wait to see what success 2023 brings”. He continued, “I’d like to thank all the sponsors for their support of this year's awards, our judging panel for their time and expertise and most importantly a huge thank you to all our entrants, whether they were lucky on the night or not, you should all be proud of your efforts over the last year – we are delighted to be part of such a hardworking and passionate industry – we can’t wait to do it all over again next year”

Whether winners or runners-up, The Negotiator Awards, once again, lived up to its reputation as the Property Party of the Year, this year themed on the hottest theatre ticket in town, Cabaret at the Kit Kat Club, with dancers, singers and circus performers entertaining the audience throughout the evening.

The Awards followed The Negotiator Conference & Expo where over 400 agents listened to opinions and advice from 23 expert speakers and industry leaders, including Rt Hon. George Osborne CH, TV presenter and financial journalist Naga Munchetty, and David Smith, Economic Editor, The Sunday Times – while also networking with some of the industry’s most innovative suppliers. Across the day and evening the event proved itself once again, to the biggest, bestsupported and quality event for estate and letting agents in the UK.
