5 Years Old!!!
Happy Birthday to POD…
In September we hosted a fantastic celebratory party at our new Head Office. It was a laughter filled afternoon and a chance for our supplier partners, stakeholders, clients, and POD fans to raise a glass with us and toast the milestone of our 5 year anniversary!
The idea for the company was born in September 2017 and on the 23rd November 2017, contracts were signed and along with our investment partners, POD was officially born. No clients, no staff - just an concept for how property management should be done.
Fast forward to today, and we are appointed as the property / estate manager for some of the largest and most prestigious residential schemes in Southeast England. The business has over 140 staff managing buildings in the built for sale, built for rent and commercial sectors. We currently manage over 9,000 homes with a further pipeline of 5,000 units secured to come onboard. Not bad for five years old.
This year has seen the launch of several new initiatives including a dedicated H&S team, leasing (for BTR clients) and Maintenance, all to support future growth a provide wider professional services.
So while we reflect on our growth and enjoy our new (own) head office, we must acknowledge how we got here. From those early ideas five years, we’ve built a great team who have taken the original vision for the company and smashed it. Thank you to all our staff for their hard work and commitment - we couldn’t have done it without you.
